I am really loving the UI for Copilot. I am hoping that as goals evolve we also get like an idea of what we have saved in a month and how much we can safely shell out to cover a loan/expense while still meeting the monthly budget. Great work & cheers to the team ❤️😊

As a workaround, I’ve been using a “recurring transfer” to savings to act as a workaround until the savings feature is released. That way it isn’t turning orange as if you are “over saving”. It works as a temp fix

UPDATE!!
From a CoPilot employee: The savings goal feature is our top priority at the moment. With the Mint shutdown, we had to pivot to be able to support the mass influx of new users. However, we now have shifted our focus to continue our development of new features. Savings goal is expected to be ready and released by the end of the year.

Any update on when this is going to drop. This would be a huge leap for the app.

I’m a Mint refugee and testing Copilot vs. Monarch simultaneously with the free trials. Savings goals is the ONE thing Monarch has that would make me jettison my paid Copilot account. Copilot is better in every other way! Please don’t force me to choose your competitor.

Lindsay this 100%
Monarch’s UI and auto categorization is not even close to what Copilot offers.
But savings goals in copilot would take copilot from being only a “spending tracking only” app to an app that “helps me reach my financial goals.”

Specifically, improve the budgeting modal. At first, I would appreciate the ability to "Normalize" and to "Distribute" the budget for a category. Normalize brings the budget to the actual spent amount to reset the rollover, and Distribute allows users to pre-load a month where spending is expected to be (or was) high by distributing the necessary budget into rollover installments.
We kind of already have "goals" partially implemented in the forecasting of recurring expenses. Tools like normalization and distribution are necessary to support a robust goal planning strategy. "Same budget every month" and "different budget every month but guess what you get to operate a slippery slider to set me" aren't sufficient.
